Privacy policy

Last updated 5 November 2026

This policy explains what information Online Quran Guide (School of Divine Wisdom) collects, why, and how it is protected. We collect as little as we need to teach well.

What we collect

  • Enquiry and trial forms: guardian and student names, age bracket, email, country, phone/WhatsApp number, language and course preferences, and any comments you add.
  • Feedback forms: your ratings and comments about lessons.
  • Student accounts: when you sign in with Google or an email link we receive your name, email address and profile photo. We record which courses you have access to and which lessons you complete.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security.

How we use it

  • To arrange trial lessons, schedule classes and communicate with you about them.
  • To give students access to their course materials and track their progress.
  • To improve our teaching, using feedback you choose to give.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Our website is hosted on Netlify. Accounts, course data and form submissions are stored with Supabase. Sign-in with Google is provided by Google. These providers process data only to run the service for us.

Testimonials

We only publish a feedback comment as a testimonial if you tick the box allowing it, and we show first names only.

Children

For students under 16, a parent or guardian completes our forms and is our main point of contact.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to two years unless you become a student. Student records are kept while you study with us and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing info@onlinequranguide.com.
